Dating is a simple thing. Most of us have been on at least one date, and many of us have had our heart broken or been rejected at least once. It is a fact of life, and it happens to the best of us. Dating isnt as simple as it seems though, and what do those of you that are confused do? You get stuck in a tragic date, and have a hard time crawling back out. Dating doesn’t have to be difficult or complicated, you have a successful date that keeps your love interest coming back again and again. Dating tips are simple and concise enough to get you “dating in the right direction”.
Babbling about things that are not important or come off as bigoted and rude is a surefire way to get your date to leave on the spot. A first date isn’t the time to discuss your political views, or why you hate a particular person. It comes off as too strong and too fussy. No one likes that to start off with! Ask about what your date likes to do, what he or she does for a living, and what her dreams are. Asking serious yet lightweight questions will get you in the mode for the next date, and the next.
Don’t act cocky, fake, or pretend to like something that you really don’t. This sets you up for disaster and definitely happens more often than you think. Your date will be much more inclined to date you again if you have something in common, but also not in common. Uncommon traits can keep him or her interested, and intrigued. Its important to keep them in a cloud of mystery!
If you take your date to a restaurant, or if you go to a movie, do not be mean or rude to whoever is serving you. If you notice your date acting rude to a server, then tell him or her to stop or you will leave the building. Its really off putting to put on displays of aggression and meanness, especially while you are on a date.
Bringing your date small gifts is sweet, even if you are a female and your date is male. Who cares about gender gift giving “rules” anyway? Just don’t give anything extravagant. No one likes a show off, even if that show off is a millionaire.
Be yourself. Talk about what you like, and learn what your date likes. Being who you really are is the best way to land another date, again and again.
